Booking and Payment Policy

At Kootenay Detailing Services, we take pride in delivering premium, professional results — and we value your time and ours. To ensure a smooth experience for all clients, please review our booking and payment terms:

💰 Payment Terms

Full payment is due upon completion of work, on site.

We accept cash, e-transfer, approved business cheque or credit card (3% fee)

🔒 Deposit Requirements

For all high-end bookings (ceramic coatings, full restorations, marine services, RV services, out-of-town work), a 25% deposit is required at the time of booking.

Your booking is not secured until the deposit is received.

📅 Cancellation Policy

Cancellations made 7 days or more before the scheduled appointment: no additional charge.

Cancellations made within 7 days of the scheduled appointment: client is responsible for 50% of the total booking value (minus deposit).

No-shows or same-day cancellations will be charged the full balance of the booking.

🛻 Out-of-Town Work Policy
(For any work requiring travel and/or accommodations — including Cranbrook, Lake Koocanusa, Fairmont, and other regional locations.)

25% non-refundable deposit required at time of booking.

Remaining balance is due in full on site upon completion of work.

Out-of-town appointments cannot be canceled or rescheduled within 7 days — full booking value is due if canceled within this window.

Why this policy?
When you book our time — especially out of town — we commit staff, order specialty products, book travel and accommodations, and reserve your spot over other clients. We cannot fill last-minute gaps due to cancellations. This policy protects our business and allows us to continue providing high-end service to all of our valued clients.
